Course look & feel

The course is there to enable editors to create stories to empower users to learn. Focused on a specific topic, concise so it's easy to learn with less effort, based on existing instructions, enriched with context information to make it a coherent and cohesive story. Some real world use cases for the course: guide users through changes upfront or after a software migration; inform users of best practices when implementing a new application; or onboard new colleagues quickly and effectively as they settle into their new role.  

A refreshed look & feel has been designed and implemented to align with this goal!

The key changes:

• The course header now features custom colors and images to make it more visual attractive and aligned with the course topic
• An indication of the course size in the header before a user dives in based on the amount of instructions and exercises
• The video is moved to the outline and sticky so it stays visible when you scroll through the course
• The course description is now visible together with the modules. While it looks like a module, it behaves differently suitable for the goal of the description
• Instructions and exercises in the sections now contain the option to see all information about the content using the well known tile
• The list of instructions and exercises has been restyled to make it more attractive in general and less distractive when showing all information about the content

Course mobile responsive

Empowering users to gain knowledge using courses should not be discouraged by technical limits. Like the instruction and user guide a few months ago, the course and exercise have been made mobile responsive too!
