The available content in SelfGuide dependents on several aspects like the need, editors being able to create content and also the usage duration over time. Content will become available when the time is right and in the meantime users should not be distracted by an empty library. An empty library, for example no Courses have been created yet, only raises questions for a user and detracts from the available content. The navigation in SelfGuide has been improved towards this scenario. Read more about this and other changes below.
The navigation pane on the left side is used to choose between the different libraries: Instructions, User Guides and Courses. Especially when starting with SelfGuide, these libraries might be empty as no content of the specific type is available yet. The navigation pane behavior has been updated so users can only open a library containing content.
This behavior is applicable for users with the User or Guest role. Editors, SelfGuide-managers and Admins will always see all libraries to be able to create the first content in the respective library.
