28 January - Warn by unsaved changes (User Guide)

This article is from before the rebranding to SelfGuide. Text and images can include the old product name ProductivityPerformer or its abbreviation PP.

Last release, we started with adding unsaved change behavior for AWIs. In this release we added the same behavior for User Guides. Therefore, unsaved changes won't be lost when leaving the User Guide editor.

Warn by unsaved changes (User Guide)

The User Guide editor requires a save to persist the changes made. When this is forgotten, unsaved changes are lost and need to be done again. We added the unsaved change behavior, already active within the AWI editor, to the User Guide editor. When leaving the editor, a warning will be shown about unsaved changes giving the choice to Cancel the navigation, Discard the changes or Save the changes.

Note: Unsaved change behavior only works for navigation within SelfGuide. Changing the browser window URL does not trigger this behavior.

AWI library performance

We noticed the AWI library performance decreased during the last weeks and was not as expected when using more than 1500 AWIs. We made some improvements in order to increase the AWI library performance again.

Bugfixes

  • The Cancel button in the User Guide editor did not remove unsaved changes. This has been solved.
