The behavior around the start/update recording button in the context menu of an AWI tile is improved. From now on, the button is always available and only changes by name and style based on certain scenarios. Users won't experience any confusion anymore about why an AWI can't be recorded. Furthermore, wrong clicks when opening the edit mode won't take place, because buttons in the context menu are moved. Read more about changes, bugfixes and additions below.
Always show start/update recording button
Creating or updating screenshots of an AWI requires the locally installed recorder. We made the following changes:
The button is always available in both the web-based version and the locally isntalled recorder.
The button is below 'Properties' in the context menu.
The most frequently used options are on top of the context menu.
In the web-based version, the button has additional styling to indicate the locally installed recorder is required.
In the web-based version, the user will be informed when a functionality requires the locally installed recorder.
In the locally installed recorder, the button is changed.
The update step button styling and behavior is identical to the start recording button.
Rebranding to SelfGuide
We are close to our name change from ProductivityPerformer to SelfGuide. More information about the name change can be found in the knowledge base. The following changes are already made:
https://login.selfguide.com is available and will be updated to the new styling next week.
The PP-manager role is renamed to SelfGuide manager and existing role assignments are migrated.
The new SelfGuide icon on the start recording button is now visible.
